Third Dimension Diving

Our training is designed to prepare divers for the rigors of the underwater cave environment, and to establish an appreciation of its subtle dangers. With a strong focus on environmental awareness and cave conservation, we offer robust and challenging scenario based training designed to develop solid skill-sets, situational awareness, strong personal and team capacity, along with realistic advanced problem resolution. And perhaps most importantly, FUN is a big part of what we do as well :-)

We believe that the current “zero to hero” training approach that pervades the industry is both dangerous and ultimately unfulfilling for the prospective cave diver, we prefer to take a more modular approach to training. We recommend a 2 phase approach to cave diver training, starting with a Cavern Diver/Intro to Cave Diver program. On a subsequent trip, or after some experience at that introductory level, a Full Cave/Technical Cave Diver program would round out your education with stage diving techniques and oxygen deco.

If you don’t currently have very solid foundational skills (buoyancy, trim and propulsion) before embarking on cave diver training, we would suggest that you invest the time in an Essentials or GUE Fundamentals program.

We seek not to simply certify cave divers, but to develop competent and thoughtful divers that will ultimately grow to be our dive partners/team mates for the future.
